This guide shows you how to lay and glue the decking like an expert. Please make sure you have had a look through this if you plan to fit your panel’s yourself as it can be quite an in depth procedure.
Cutting Out Panels

You will require the following items to hand in order to install your new Teca Tek decking:
1. A pencil,
2. A cutter,
3. A sanding block with 40 grit paper,
4. A metal straight edge or ruler,
5. Weights and/or masking tape
Preparation
Place oversize rectangular Teca Tek mat on a flat cutting surface, place on top the pattern or template and weigh or tape down as necessary.
Method
1. Draw a pencil line carefully around pattern or template. Fig.1
2. Cut all straight edges using a cutter with standard blade. Fig.2
3. Cut out curves using a cutter with a hooked blade. Fig.3 and 4
4. Sand all around edges with a sanding block with 40 grade abrasive paper to give even finish. Fig.5
5. Lay in place on the boat to check for size. Fig. 6
6. Glue down in place (See Deck Laying instructions).
